Bundle Builder Oak Finger Joint Handrail and Baserail set for 41mm Spindles.

Finger joints are a woodwork technique used to combine short wooden pieces into longer ones. These joints feature interlocking wooden ‘fingers’ held together by adhesive, resulting in higher-quality and more efficient components. This method reduces material waste, making it particularly valuable as raw material costs increase. Finger-jointed lumber offers advantages like straightness and dimensional stability but may exhibit visible colour differences in oak.

The Oak Finger Joint Cottage Handrail is untreated with a 41mm groove, allowing a 41mm spindle to be fitted into it.

The infill/spacer comes pre-packed in with the handrail.

Handrail Size: 65mm x 40mm

The groove for the spindle is 8mm x 41mm.

The Oak Finger Joint base rail has a 41mm groove, allowing a 41mm spindle to be fitted into the groove.

The infill/spacer comes pre-packed with the base rail.

Oak stair parts come unfinished. They can be finished by varnishing or waxing.

Base Rail Size: 28mm x 58mm, with 41mm groove & infill
