Our Oak Finger Joint Steps Cladding – Essential Range is an entry-level stair cladding system designed to fit over your existing stairs, giving them a refreshed oak finish without the need for a full replacement. The treads are made from finger-jointed oak, with the finger joint deliberately left visible, creating a distinctive, natural pattern that highlights the character of real timber while still delivering a smart overall result.
The Oak Finger Joint Landing Tread – Essential Range is designed to form the final step at the top of your staircase, creating a neat and practical transition between the stairs and the landing floor. Featuring a precision rebate to 12mm from the underside, it allows for a smooth junction with thinner flooring options such as laminate, vinyl, or carpet.
Manufactured from certified oak using finger joint technology, this landing tread is intended to be used alongside Grooved Treads from the Essential Range to complete a full stair cladding setup. It provides a consistent appearance across the staircase while offering flexibility for modern renovation projects.
Supplied unfinished, allowing you to apply your preferred finish such as oil, lacquer, or wax to match your flooring and staircase.
Installed as the final tread at the top of the staircase. The rebated underside aligns with thinner flooring materials for a clean transition. Typically fitted using suitable adhesive and standard joinery methods as part of a stair cladding system.
